As a global wedding marketplace Bridestory has been expanding its business rapidly in South East Asia. Currently, it has operations in four countries including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Today, it announces the appointment of Andhira Purbo as the new Country Director for Indonesia. Throughout her career, Andhira has worked as a corporate banker in a multinational bank and is the founder of The Bride Bestfriend, the first-ever curated Instagram account for all things wedding in Indonesia which now has more than 230,000 followers.
In her position, Andhira will help Bridestory in establishing and maintaining its position as a market leader in Indonesia. Her role includes managing client relationships as well as growing the company through new business initiatives within the country.
On her new journey with Bridestory, Andhira said the challenges and the typical dreamy wedding feeling are a good combination. "I'm very excited to join the team. Afterall, I love turning dream weddings into reality, so I will make sure it happens for all engaged couples through the vendors in Bridestory." She revealed that there are several upcoming events already in her pipeline to excite Indonesia wedding scene and increase Bridestory's exposure to more engaged couples and wedding vendors alike.
